Hi,
i made a frame using a wire (pipe cleaner) to make a circle by joining both the ends
then single crochet around the circle. then i gave a shell edging around, it looks fabulous
after u finish the frame u can stick a picture behind the frame and hang it with the pin on the wall or put the magnet and make it a fridge magnet.
i also made a beautiful pink and white flower bouquet for my center table.

I don't know if I would use yarn to hang pictures, as it may not be strong enough and will probably stretch.

Another idea: I am actually making a beanbag chair with yarn scraps using a difference colour for each round. I'm just making 2 giant "semi-spheres" (is that the word?) and sewing them together in the middle with a zipper to insert styrofoam beans. It uses up a lot of yarn, so if your looking to decrease your stash size, it's a great project.

Pillows are another great idea along with coasters. I've made a few coasters and we have them lying around our house. Kitchen cloths are cute as well! I've also crocheted some arm chair covers as well. Those were a lot of fun since I was able to experiment with different colors.
