Hey Rachel, how does this work? Do I have to log in with my Amazon account? How do I know if I’m on the “Crochet Spot’s” Amazon page? Thanks, Sally

    • Rachel says:

Hey Sally, as long as you click the link above, you’ll be on Crochet Spot’s Amazon page. It will look exactly like the regular Amazon page and you can shop as you normally do. No need to log into your Amazon account or anything.

Is there a way to put this link in your sidebar so I can buy through your site without having to search for this post each time?

Added the link to my Favorites shortcut bar. FYI – I clicked the link and held the button down. I dragged it to the bar and released when the insertion cursor appeared. I am using Firefox, but I think this works with Internet Explorer, as well.

With the link in my shortcut bar, I am far more likely to use it so I can support Crochet Spot.

I shop Amazon a lot, and if I can support Crochet Spot at the same time, so much the better! This is such a great site. I want to see it continue as a mostly-free site. If this had been available 40 years ago when I was learning, I would have been ecstatic! No one else in my family crochets, so I had to learn everything from books – no wonderfully done photo or video tutorials, or personal demonstrations. For example, I had to learn reverse crochet from a book plus lots of guessing until I could do it so it looked like the picture. After seeing Crochet Spot’s explanation, I see I guessed correctly, but I sure would have liked to have that reassurance 25 years ago!

Do they give you anything if we just use our wishlist…or is it once we’ve paid for it only?

    • Rachel says:

Hi Gramma Sarah, it only applies if you use the link and then checkout and purchase an item. I hope that clarifies, let me know if you have other questions!

I did not know this, Rachel. I buy masses of yarn and needlecraft supplies at Amazon…I get something every month, and some months whole big boxes full of yarn and stuff! I’ll have to bookmark this link and try to remember to use it. Wish I’d known sooner!
