For a great style, and necessary warmth for those cold days, this beret is sure to come in handy! The brim is made onto the beret using double strands and simple crochet stitches, while the band and button add the finishing touch.
Being typically the beret-only type of girl, this brimmed design was a new twist for me. I really enjoyed designing it and I hope you will have as much fun making it!

My cousin and I are the same age and are four days shy of sharing the same birthday. This year I wanted to make her something handmade, so I rummaged through my yarn stash and pulled out a handful of colors I thought really fit her style. Some time later I presented her with this pillow and was pleased that she liked it. Now here is the pattern for you! Using a variety of stitches for a regal look, this pillow will grace any room in the house. Enjoy! Flor Del Amor Pillow

Crochet Pattern: Leafy Doily

Posted in Uncategorized on November 10th, 2013 by Amy Lynn Yarbrough – 1 Comment
Long before crocheting became popular in the 60’s, the art was used for making many things. One item that has always been crocheted is doilies. Doilies have been a part of our culture in a small way for what seems like centuries. This doily pattern has a modern spin with its vibrant colors. The doily is crocheted in the round from the center out and the colorful leaves are joined in as you go. Crochet this doily or a set of them to add to your fall decor. crochet leafy doily
