  25. Sue Johnson says:

This may sound like a really stupid question, especially since I have been crocheting for over thirty years, but I am not satisfied with my edges when I turn to go to the next row. Is there a correct direction to turn so that the edges look finished? Should I turn the finished work clockwise or counterclockwise?

    • Rachel says:

Sue, you can turn either way. Being that you’ve been crocheting for 30+ years, you are probably doing it correctly. Maybe you can add a simple single crochet edging to your work to give it a more finished look.

      • Sue Johnson says:

Thank you so very much for your prompt reply. I attempted to thank you earlier, but my e-mail wasn’t working properly. I love all of the things that you have and the straight-forward instructions that you provide. I can hardly wait to add some of your things to my crochet “collection”, especially some of the kitchen and bath items. Once again, thank you and Happy New Year. Sue Johnson
