Crochet Pattern: 3 Ring Binder Pouch

Crochet this pouch and insert it into your 3 ring binder to store your pencils and other small school/work supplies. This pattern is good for beginners, but be sure to read through the pattern before you begin so that you will understand how the pouch is made. Skill Level: beginner crochet skill level

Finished Size: 4″ (10 cm) wide, 6 1/4″ (16 cm) tall

Materials:
Medium Weight Yarn (approximately 50 yards)
Crochet Hook G (4.00 mm)
Yarn needle
crochet yarn size 4

Gauge:
14 sc = 3’’
8 rows = 2’’
Gauge Swatch: 3’’w x 2’’h (7.5 cm x 5 cm) ch 15.
Row 1: sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across: 14 sc
Row 2 – 8: ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across: 14 sc
Finish off.

Crochet Pattern: Binder Pouch
Row 1: ch 32, dc in third ch from hook and in each ch across: 30 dc
Row 2: ch 1, turn, sc in each dc across: 30 sc
Row 3 – 44: ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across: 30 sc
Finish off.

Fold your piece in half, such that row 2 touches the last row (row 44). With a yarn needle, sew the edge of row 44 to row 2 to close the side of the pouch, then sew the bottom closed. Leave row 1 sticking out on the left hand side, since the spaces between the double crochet stitches will function as your ring holes.

    Very nice and good idea. I think the part that you wrote “how the pouch in made” I believe it should say how the pouch is made. You added in instead of is.
