Hi Everyone! I’m not sure if Allyson saw your questions, but I think you’re suppose to sew the first 2 pieces on top of the “front (second piece)”, which is a large rectangle. The first 2 front pieces are triangular and help to shape the neck. So you would sew the bottom of those 2 pieces onto the top of the large rectangular piece.

If you look in the pic, you can see the 2 front pieces at the top of the sweater near the neck (it’s a little bit covered by hair).

Hi Allyson.
Great job on the sweater. I’ve noticed that a few people have asked the same question here. I have currently made the Front (Make 2) and the Front (2nd piece), but have no idea how to sew them together. Can you tell me exactly where they need to be placed? I know your instructions say “Take 1st 2 pieces made and lay them on 2nd piece (front sides facing). Sew pieces together.” Where do I place the 1st 2 pieces on the 2nd piece? Help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You chain 13 and dc in the fourth chain from the hook, then dc in each chain to the end, resulting in a total of 10 dc’s

I dont understand how its supposed to be, first front, Rowe one, Chain 13 and Then make 10 dc in eaach ch Across. It becomes like a flower to Me.

yeah, i’ve got the first two small pieces and the front piece finished, and i’m also at a loss as to where to sew them. looking at the picture sorta-kinda helps, it looks like you sew them in the middle, so they meet? but i’d rather not fudge it, thanks.
