Kinda a repeat of what Rachel said, but I thought I'd throw my two cents out there: since this is made with thread it would take a lot of work to make one for a human-sized human, but following the basic pattern with a larger hook and some larger yarn it would probably work pretty well. You might need to sew it together and making a sturdier neck strap would be a very good idea, but other then that I don't see any problems with making a larger version. Maybe someone could try it out and tell us how well it works?

No biggie Rachel. Just thought I'd throw the question out there in case anyone might know of a pattern. I searched a bit with no luck.

Your site is awesome! Thanks for sharing your passion!

Hi Lora, sorry I only made the doll version for now. But if you'd like, you can continue to increase the size of each triangle piece to make it fit yourself.

Hi Amy! For row 1, you're going to make 2 double crochets into the forth chain from you're hook, meaning you are going to insert you hook into the same chain to make both double crochets. On row 2, are going to make 2 double crochets in each double crochet across the row. Your work will start to look like a mini triangle. Let me know if you need more help.

I am just a beginner and I am having trouble understanding patterns. Can you help me understand rows 1 and 2. I can (hopefully) get it from there! I understand I have to make a dc, but do I make 2 dc in the same ch? Do I go back in the same exact ch for the second dc? I also understand I have to ch 3 to get the row height for the next row, but where do I go from there?? Any help, tips, etc would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi Rachel,
I have a doubt in the pattern and that is that you wrote in Rows 5 - 19 at the end of each row to sc in the next dc, I do believe it should of have been " dc in the next dc". Correct me if I'm wrong.
