My daughter would like to add a button hole and a button can you give me simple instructions on how to do this?

    • Rachel says:

Hi Janet, you can add a hole in one of the last rows in the pattern to make the button hole. To make a hole, you can do the following:

ch 1, turn, sc in next 4 sc, ch 2, skip 2 sc, sc in next 4 sc. Then on the row after that you can sc in each stitch across so that you have a total of 10 sc again.

You can sew the button to the other side of the headband.

Rows 45-55 donate indicate to chain one and turn. Is that intentional? Or was that step omitted in error?

    ** do not indicate
