I’m just not getting round #5.
Beginning with after I have done tcl, ch 3, tck. I then ch 16. sl st in 12th stitch of chain I have just worked to form a ring, then ch 3, turn work, then 6 dc in ring. then it says sl st in sc of prev row. I may, although I’m not sure, be joining in the wrong stitch of the previous row. I assumed that this would be the stitch that was an sc in the row below it while I go forward with my work. Not turning at this point, then turn again and do 8 dc in ring and turn. here is where I am completely lost. I came out constantly doing the wrong side of the ring and in so doing twisting my work causing it to not lay flat at all or having not otehr place to go other than on top of the previous tcl point.. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Ela, I think Erin had a typo in the pattern, so I edited round 2. Let me know if you have trouble with the way it’s written now.

first thanx a lot for your very useful site…i learned a lot. and then a question! i just can’t understand the round 2 because i don’t know ” (tcl, ch 3, tcl) in next ch 3 space,”which ch3 space is talked about here ? thank you if you reply me…I’m making this doily for friend’s birthday so I’m in a hurry;)..i love you!

Thanks sooooo much for these patterns. I do a lot of crochet and knitting at work, (nightshift computer watching ) and I just finished a project earlier than I planned, soI didn’t have anotherone ready to go. 12 hours with nothing to keep my hands busy is a looooong night. Then I ran across you site, and these wonderful, quick working patterns. I’ve got the “Hipster”,the “Large Hipster” and the “Blossom” printed out, (can’t save websites at work), and an email of the link to myself so I can get more at home!!!
Thank you for helping to keep me sane, and save the sanities of my co-workers!!!

I’m having trouble with rounds 1, 2, 3. Can you run your eye over the pattern to make sure it’s correct. If it is, I’ll try to convey more precisely what my problem is. Thanks!

Very pretty Doily and on another note I LOVE the new look of the store! I like being able to see all patterns, not just the one’s you haven’t bought yet. Looks great Rachel!
