Crochet Pattern: Bruges Trim Pouch

By Candace – 2 Comments
Bruges lace is really a very easy technique–even a beginner can do it, and the simple edging on this pouch proves it. After making one of these you’ll feel ready to tackle more complicated patterns using the technique–and you’ll have a pouch to keep things in.

Skill Level:

Finished Size: (Pouch) 4″ (10 cm) wide, 4 3/4″ (12 cm) tall

Materials:
Medium Weight Yarn (approximately 20 yards of main pouch color and 15 yards of contrasting trim color)

Crochet Hook J (6.0 mm)
Yarn Needle

Gauge:
8 dc = 3″ (7.5 cm)

Good idea for Senior ladies, especially when we have to keep our hands free if we are using a cane or walker and have no pockets for a cell phone. One can crochet a strap to attach so can wear around the neck.
