I love the little coin purse-easy and attractive. Perfect for small scraps of yarn. Will make for daughters and granddaughters for Christmas. It will make a nice little inexpensive but very thoughtful gift. I appreciate you and your hard work and thanks for sharing!

Hi Bea, be sure to check the gauge that's in the pattern. The gauge will tell you if you need to adjust your hook size or not. Here's more information about gauges if you need it: What the Heck is a Gauge?

Hi Rachel – I’ve tried making this and I can’t seem to get them to come out in the same measurements you give. What am I doing wrong? I’m following the pattern as written and for some reason it’s coming out too big. Suggestions?

This is soooo cute!! My mom does a breast cancer fundraiser in October and I will be making these for all of the volunteers! They work up so quickly, it’s awesome!

Hi Shirley, after each round be sure that you are not turning your work to make the next round. You should be crocheting in the round like a continuous spiral so that no joining is needed at the end. Let me know if that clarifies it or if you need more help.

i made a SUPER easy version of this. i made the pocket dbl crochet and slip stich the bottom closed. then i used the elastic cording and a zip button to close it. (my best description of the zip button is the button on the ends of elastic cords that you slide up and down to adjust the sizing.)
