|What is a cupster, exactly? It’s simply a coaster with a lip that cups the bottom of your glass. One benefit of a cupster is that if it fits snugly on the glass, the cupster will stay with it, and you don’t have to worry about making sure your coaster is wherever you set the glass down.|
Finished Size: 3″ (7.5 cm) diameter, 1″ (2.5 cm) tall
Medium Weight Yarn (approximately 25 yards)
Crochet Hook G (4.0 mm)
Rounds 1-3 measure 2 1/4″ (5.5 cm) in diameter

Round 1: make adjustable ring, ch 2, 9 hdc in ring, sl st in first hdc: 9 hdc
Round 2: ch 2, 2 hdc in each hdc around, sl st in in first hdc: 18 hdc
Round 3: ch 2, (2 hdc in next hdc, hdc in next hdc) around, sl st in first hdc: 27 hdc
Round 4: ch 2, (2 hdc in next hdc, hdc in next 2 hdc) around, sl st in first hdc: 36 hdc
