I am confused as to how to start this bracelet! Is there a chain row to start?? I suppose you put the beads on the thread, but when?? It is hard to follow this for those of us new at jewelry making.

Yes, it would have been nice to have the number of beads needed listed however, based on the number of stitches requiring a bead it seems like this calls for 21 beads. I also tried counting the beads in the picture of the finished product and that also comes out to 21 beads.

I love the idea of the pattern and I’d like to make it. Thank you for mentioning the beads. I was wondering about that too. I didn’t see a posting yet about the beads…what kind/size do I get.
I haven’t bought crochet thread before; I bet a yarn shop can help me with that part of it tho.

I really love this. I was looking for something for myself as well as something dainty for my 5 year old. Thanks for this pattern. Now I have to determine the numver of beads I will need to complete this task.

This pattern is known as Soft Jewelry. I’ve made several pieces like this. You can use any kind of beads. In the old days this is how women made their jewelry. Now days it is cheaper to make jewelry this way. Thanks so much for the new pattern. Please make more patterns.

hi,
don’t you think that for those who do not do a lot of this type of craft you should list BEADS in the materials? how many?? (appox.) and i would let them know that they need to assemble the beads to the thread BEFORE they start crocheting!!! sounds like a “given” to those of us who do this but ……………….the beginner with thread and beads could or would be confused!!
i truelly love lots of your ideas and you have shown me lots of neat tricks!! i love your “spot”!!!

I like to leave long ends and loop them through the clasp as I weave them in.
