Crochet Pattern: Diamond Eyelet Scarf

By Rachel Choi – 7 Comments
There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! This scarf has a diamond pattern that is a nice cross between being lacy and solid. The pattern resembles filet crochet, but all you need to know to crochet this scarf is the chain and double crochet stitch. The scarf is made with light weight yarn so that it drapes easier around the neck without being stiff. This accessory can be great for both cold and warm weather.

Hi Rachel. I had a question…one of the rows, I think row 5 or 6, says chain 5, turn etc.
Should that be chain 3? Or is it ch 5? I love the scarf and was just reading over the directions before beginning and wanted to check this out. Thanks and Merry Christmas. Marcia

Hi Marcia! Yes, it does say ch 5. The first 3 chains will count as the dc, and the other 2 chains will be the chain space that is needed at the beginning of the row. Let me know if you have other questions, or need any help while crocheting.
