Crochet Pattern: Easy Tunisian Square Scrubbie

By Candace – 6 Comments
A set of simple square scrubbies is great to have on had when cleaning tough spots in small crevices and provides an easy project for people who are new to Tunisian crochet. Since it is a narrow pattern, you can work on it with a regular crochet hook and try out Tunisian crochet before you go out and buy new Tunisian hooks.

Nice, simple little project. I love Tunisian crochet! Think I might edge it with a row of sc around.

  2. Angie says:

I’m so confused, should I be turning after row 1?

    • Candace says:

      Hi,Angie.

In Tunisian crochet, there is no turning.

      Hi Angie,
remember to do a return pass after pulling up loops on row 1 (click on the blue writing for an explanation). For clarification, a row of Tunisian has a forward and return pass; pull up loops in the forward, work them off in the return (yarn over, pull thru 1 loop, *yarn over, pull thru 2* to the end of the row). Hope this helps you! Happy Tunisian hooking!!

I think that’s exactly what I needed, thanks so much Nozible!
