Crochet Pattern: Fashion Doll No-Sew Pencil Skirt

Even dolls like to be snug and warm, so why not treat you favorite collectible or playtime buddy to a warm skirt? This pencil skirt is seamless and made to be pulled on. It cinches at the waist with an elastic waistband or drawstring. Be fashionable and crochet this skirt in a variety of colors!

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 5 1/2″ (14 cm) hip, 2 3/4″ (7 cm) length

Materials:
Fingering Weight Yarn (approximately 15 yards)
Crochet Hook E (3.50 mm)
1 ft of fingering weight yarn or 5 in. of elastic cord
crochet yarn size 4

Gauge:
5 dc = 1″ (2.5 cm)
3 rows = 1″ (2.5 cm)

Crochet Pattern: Fashion Doll No-Sew Pencil Skirt
Round 1: ch 25, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 2, hdc in each ch around, sl st in first hdc: 25 hdc
Round 2-4: ch 3, dc in each st around, sl st in first dc
Round 5: ch 3, (dc in next 4 dc, 2 dc in next dc) around, sl st in first dc: 30 dc
Round 6: ch 3, dc in each st around, sl st in first dc: 30 dc
Round 7: ch 3, (dc in next 5 dc, dc2tog) around, sl st in first dc: 25 dc
Round 8: ch 3, (dc2tog, dc in next 3 dc) around, sl st in first dc: 20 dc
Finish off.

Weave yarn or elastic cord through row 1 to make drawstring or waistband.

    Instead of adding the elastic later, I used a small elastic band then did this instead: Row 1: sc 25 around the band, join with sl st, ch 2, hdc in each sc around, sl st in first hdc: 25 hdc. And just continued with the pattern. It looks great, thanks 🙂
