Emilee, thanks so much for sharing this little gem. I’ve fought and fought with thread crochet because it’s so doggone hard to feel in my fingers. But a pattern like this is great because it’s such a quickie, I won’t hesitate to frog however often I need to to get it right. ONE of these days, I’ll become proficient at lace–due to simple projects like this one.

You can make them smaller by using a thinner weight of yarn or by using less stitches

Or instead of gluing the flower on the bobby pin, you could slip it through one of the stitches before putting in in your hair.
