Thank you for the great pattern. I made 25 of them, sprayed each with a craft glitter spray and hung them from my office ceiling with fishing line. It was raining shamrocks! I won the company decorating contest. I owe it all to you and your fantastic pattern. Thank you!

this shamrock is beautiful!… the nicest I’ve seen!…. recently, a friend of a friend is having chemo and so she is wearing a hat now … I taught my friend to crochet, as she wanted to make a green hat for St Pat’s Day as a gift… she asked me to make a shamrock to attach ~ this is it!… bringing good luck and looking great!

Hi Rachel,
Thank you very much for this clover pattern. It was by far the easiest I’ve encounter and looks really great. I’ve made it with three and four leafs and either way it looks great. I also made your little Barbie Santa hat for my little christmas tree and I tell you everyone thought it was sooooo cute! Well, thanks again and I too can’t wait for the Irish tam hat pattern. thank you so much for the st. patrick’s day pattern for me. I really appreciate. I read the directions and will take no time at all. I am also looking for Santa crochet hats. Of course any St. patrick’s day hats, there has been some with the tam, i like that, but most of them are missing the front piece like a baseball cap.

Hey Shyg!

when I joined mine I sewed the bottom corner of all the leaves together and a small part of the edges that are close to the center. The more of the edges you sew together the less flimsy your clover will be. But be sure to not sew too much of edges together or else the clove might look like a bowl. It also may be easier to sew one leaf on at a time.

Also, I used a pretty small hook to make the clover more stiff, if you used a bigger hook that might be why it’s not that stiff.

I haven’t tried felting it. But I bet it would turn out awesome if you did. Let me know how it goes. The cloves would make a great embellishment!

Hi Rachel,
Have you felted this clover? I want to make a felted purse for my daughter’s 4-H leader and thought I’d add this as an emblishment. It looks really easy to crochet, lucky for me as I just learned how to crochet, I’ve been a die-hard knitter for many years. Thanks for the great pattern.
