Hello.

I think you’re misunderstanding the pattern format. The text after the colon is the stitch count. Hope that helps.

i’m just learning to crochet. i’ve made a few things but this is my first time trying to read a pattern on my own. i think i have the magic loop, ch 2, 6 dhc right but i’m confused on the next part. when i slip into the original ch 2 where do the next 6 dhc go?

THANKS for another FAB crochet pattern. I’ve crocheted many heart necklaces for gifts for several grandnieces in the past few years. But this one is smaller & I like the pale pink yarn. However, I do NOT own a hook B, so I may use the smallest — it’s a ‘C.’ Sarah Helene in Minneapolis, MN
