Are you ready to try something a little different with Tunisian Crochet? Try this bookmark to get used to working tall stitches in a different way. You will need to be familiar with Tunisian crochet from the setup/Tunisian simple stitch to the Tunisian knit stitch and the Tunisian treble crochet.

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 6″ (15 cm) long, 1 1/4″ (3 cm) wide

Materials: Size 10 thread (approximately 15 yards) Crochet Hook B (2.25 mm)

Gauge:
Rows 1 – 15 in pattern measure 6″ (15 cm) by 1 1/4″ (3 cm)

Crochet Pattern: Lacy Tunisian Bookmark
Note: ttc are worked by inserting the hook as if to tks

Row 1: ch 12, pull up a loop in second ch from hook and each ch across, ch 1, (yo, pull through 2 loops on hook) across: 11 tss
Row 2: ch 3, ttc in first 2 tss, yo 2 times, skip 2 sts, ttc in next 3 tss, yo 2 times, skip 2 sts, ttc in last 2 tss: 11 sts
Row 3: ch 3, ttc in each st across: 11 ttc
Row 4-5: ch 3, ttc in first 2 ttc, yo 2 times, skip 2 sts, ttc in next 3 ttc, yo 2 times, skip 2 sts, ttc in last 2 ttc: 11 sts
Row 6: ch 3, ttc in first 2 ttc, 2 ttc in next space, ttc in next 3 ttc, 2 ttc in next space, ttc in last 2 ttc: 11 ttc
Rows 7-12: repeat rows 4-6
Row 13: repeat row 4
Rows 14-15: tks in each st across: 11 tks
Finish off.
