When Betsy Ross sewed the first American flag, little did she know the effect it would have on her growing country. And yet it’s hard not to take it all for granted. I’m a little late with this…I remember it being posted on the blog a few weeks ago…but now I’m busily making patriotic stuff for Independence Day and am so glad this is here! I will be making at least one. Probably more. We always decorate for the 4th of July (and usually Memorial Day, too), and this will be much nicer to have on display than store bought tinsel stuff!
