|It’s gotten pretty cold where I live, and we even got snow. Of course that means it’s time for a nice, steaming mug of tea or hot chocolate. There are a lot of mug cozies out there, but sometimes they cover the best parts of the mug. This cozy lets pictures and text show through and is easy to adjust to show off the best parts of your favorite mug.|
Finished Size: 10″ (25.5 cm) circumference, 3″ (7.5 cm) tall
Medium Weight Yarn (approximately 30 yards)
Crochet Hook I (5.50 mm)
9 sts = 3″
3 rows = 2″
Gauge Swatch: 3″w x 2″h (7.5 cm x 5 cm)
Row 1: ch 10, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, turn: 9 sc
Row 2: ch 3, dc in each sc across, turn: 9 dc
Row 3: ch 3, dtr in each dc across: 9 dtr

Row 1: ch 29, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, turn: 28 sc
Row 2: sl st in first sc, dc in next 26 dc, turn: 26 dc
Row 3: ch 1, sc in each dc across, turn: 26 sc
Row 4: ch 5, dtr in first 4 sc, ch 8, sk 8 sc, dtr in rem sc, turn: 26 sts
Row 5: ch 1, sc in each st across, turn: 26 sc
Row 6: ch 3, dc in each sc across, turn: 26 sts
Ros 7, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook and in each st across, fsc at end of row: 28 sc
Finish off and sew the ends of the short sides together.
