Hi Darlene, that’s correct. The front window is 1 row larger than the back. But if you prefer, you can make it smaller. Just make sure you line it up when you sew the car together and you should be fine. Have fun with it!

I am in the middle of making the little car and am wondering if there is a mistake in the windshield? The picture looks like it is 8 rows and the pattern calls for 9. The windshield looks really over-sized with 9 rows. Thank you for your help. It is a cute pattern and I think my grand nephew whose first birthday is Sunday will have a lot of fun with it.
