Crochet Pattern: Starburst Motif

Turning a circle motif into a square is not as hard as you might think. Simply choose longer stitches for corners and shorter ones for the sides. By the way, don’t you just love the way this motif is excellent for four color choices! I used a coral, purple, gold, and white. What would you choose? Starburst Motif

How about bold primary colors on neutrals or neons on pastels or metallics?

My daughter has chosen 4 colours (2 shades of a dusky pink, mustard yellow and off-white – very ‘vintage’ even this she is only 7!) I’m busily making circles and planning to use the join as you go method with the last round. 21 done so far. Lovely clear pattern and a great motif – thanks so much!
