Assembly
Fold end with yarn still connected, wrong side inward, to 19th row. Mark row on both sides. Slip stitch both sides together, leaving the middle open. With three strands of each color held together, sew four separators by going through both thicknesses of middle fold, starting at one row down from top and coming up the next row down. Do this in even intervals.

Fold top flap over, touching the 4th row from the bottom. Sew button on top of flap.

With three strands of yarn, tie knot (holding all three strands together) an inch from the start. Carefully braid the three strands together for 12” (30 cm), knot the end. Fold braid in half and knot 2” (5cm) from top of loop. To attach, poke hook through 2nd to bottom row and pull loop all the way through till the knot stops you.

Here’s what the case looks like from the inside. There’s plenty of room for all your hooks, and even a small pair of scissors like mine. Weave your needles through a stitch above your hooks and it works perfectly! Get creative and find all kinds of possibilities for storing your beloved crochet equipment. P1110622

I crochet with a lot of ladies once a week at a senior center. This case looks like an easy project for them to make as the are always saying they need something to keep their accessories in. I use a small plastic multi layered Snapwear plastic bin that is sold in just about every craft store. But I need something for my purse because I never leave home with out a hook! Just in case!
So thanks for all your great ideas and posts,
    Fleur
