Crochet Pattern: Tunisian Heart Coaster

The easy eyelet pattern makes it suitable for Tunisian crochet novices. Skill Level:

Finished Size: 4″ (10 cm) wide, 4″ (10 cm) tall

Materials:
Medium Weight Yarn (approximately 10 yards)
Tunisian Crochet Hook J (6.00 mm)
crochet yarn size 4

Gauge:
8 tss = 2″
7 rows = 2″
Gauge Swatch: 2″w x 2″h (5 cm x 5 cm) ch 9.
Row 1: pull up a loop in second ch from hook and each ch across, work return pass: 8 tss
Rows 2-7: tss in each st across: 8 tss
Finish off.

Crochet Pattern: Tunisian Heart Coaster
Row 1: Forward pass: ch 16, pull up a loop in second ch from hook and each ch across, work return pass: 15 tss
Rows 2-4: tss in each st across: 15 tss
Row 5: tss in first 7 tss, yo, skip 1 st, tss in last 7 tss: 15 sts
Row 6: tss in first 6 tss, yo, skip 1 st, tss in next st, yo, skip 1 st, tss in last 6 tss: 15 sts
Row 7: tss in first 5 tss, yo, skip 1 st, tss in next 3 sts, yo, skip 1 st, tss in last 5 tss: 15 sts
Row 8-9: tss in first 4 tss, yo, skip 1 st, tss in next 5 sts, yo, skip 1 st, tss in last 4 tss: 15 sts
Row 10: tss in first 4 tss, yo, skip 1 st, tss in next 2 tss, yo, skip 1 st, tss in next 2 tss, yo, skip 1 st, tss in last 4 tss: 15 sts
Row 11: tss in first 5 tss, yo, skip 1 st, 3 tss in next tss, yo, skip 1 st, tss in last 5 tss: 15 sts
Rows 12-13: tss in each st across: 15 sts
Use single crochet Tunisian finish.
