This star appliqué sure puts the wink in Twinkle! 😉 She just loves giving everyone cheer. Sure to put an instant smile to anyone who sees this on a bag, shirt, or jeans. You can also put a string to the top and hang it as an ornament. Or sew it to the back of a pin and you get an instant funky brooch!

You should have something like this:

Finish off. Thread black yarn into yarn needle and embroider face as shown in the first picture..

Or, make your own! I found that when I make things with faces, they sort of have their own personality and the face comes out different every time.

You can glue googly eyes, or add a felt little mouth, or even add blush to make it a demure little star. The possibilities are simply endless.

Enjoy your star! If you need help just leave a comment below, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

This little guy is too cute. My daughter LOVES Dora the Explorer. If you ever had the pleasure of getting to watch a couple of episodes (note the sarcasm), then you would know that Dora is a star catcher. These would be great to make for any little person who would like to be a star catcher like Dora to keep in their backpack 🙂
