Crochet Spot’s Professional Program

Do you think you have what it takes to join the Crochet Spot team? The Professional Program is a way to give aspiring writers/designers the opportunity to have their tutorials and crochet patterns published on Crochet Spot, while getting paid to do it! As a part of the Crochet Spot team you’ll work with Rachel, the founder of Crochet Spot, in developing your crochet skills and creating tutorials and patterns that readers will be able to use for free.

Description:
Each professional will be responsible for creating original posts containing a crochet pattern and/or tutorial depending on his or her strengths. Each professional will contribute 1 – 2 posts per month depending on his/her comfort level.

Requirements:
Ability to create clear, professional, easy to follow, crochet tutorials and/or patterns (with photos)
Ability to develop own ideas for posts each week as well as create reader requested tutorials and patterns
Willingness to interact with readers and reply to comments left on his/her posts within 24 hours
Knowledge of how to crochet at an intermediate-advance skill level
Knowledge of U.S. crochet terms and abbreviations
Ability to read and write crochet patterns
Experience working with WordPress
Knowledge of HTML – tables, images, etc.
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions
Dependable and always on-time
Note: If you lack some of these requirements, but are extremely eager to learn, feel free to let me know and we may be able to work through it!

Compensation:
Starts at $15 – $30 per post based on experience, quality of work, and type of post.
Greater opportunities may become available as Crochet Spot grows and your talents increase!

Please let me know if you’re interested in writing tutorials, or crochet patterns, or both! Depending on your work submitted, you may be asked to perform a “test post” to help demonstrate your abilities.
