I brought several projects, and I felt so prepared because i had my projects which kept me so entertained. I didn't get chosen, but I got so much completed. I had two peaceful days of crocheting. It's great fun to chat and crochet. I've usually crocheted while semi-watching tv, and evading my cats who in the past wanted to play with or eat the yarn. My current cat does not seem all that interested in it. She's just bothered if she thinks I'm not paying attention to her! I wasn't allow to do so in Baltimore during the many times I was called to jury duty. We got to sit in a room and watch videos all day, or just read books. Serving on a jury is interesting ... I only served on one, for a "he said, she said" series of accusations where everyone just needed to sit down with a counselor. Met some interesting people, had a great judge (who sent out thank you notes afterwards), and had the one hold-out be the person who came up with a finding on which we could all agree (not quite like the movie "Twelve Angry Men"). The defendant was a Housing Authority police officer and the hold-out had trouble finding him guilty of anything. Once he figured that out, he offered the best solution.
