  1. I appreciate your site very much. It’s amazing that after crocheting for 46+ years I can still learn something new from young tatters like yourself. One of my friends told me that when her children were little, she had a rule that they had to learn at least one new thing each day before going to bed.

When bedtime was near, she’d ask them what they’d learned new for that day. If they couldn’t think of something to tell her, she would send them to the book shelf and they were to look up something they hadn’t known about before and they had to relate to her what they learned. Then, they were allowed to go to bed.

So, now she tells me that I must learn something new each day or I can’t go to bed either (just an inside joke before two friends but yet, it’s something to be serious about…learning).

So, thank you for teaching this old dog some new tricks on a fairly regularly basis.
