Then cut 2 of the shapes out from the fabric and sew the sides and bottom together to make the lining that will go inside the pencil case. Insert the lining inside the case and sew the very top of the lining around the top of the case with a sewing needle and thread. Let me know how it goes! If more stitches are being added by accident, the sides will keep getting wider and wider so it may look like a hat instead of a pencil case.
