Hi Tonya, At the end the round you are going to make a slip stitch into the to of the chain-3 that you made at the beginning of the round. This will join the end of the round to the beginning.

Thanks for the pattern. It’s beautiful. I want to help my 10 year old to make a felted bowl for Christmas presents. I don’t know how to crochet. Can you explain: sl st in top of ch-3 joining to beginning of round (and similar statements that the end of each round? Thanks!

I’ll probably make one or two and put spare change in them. It will be my first felting project, and since its small it will be nice to practice felting with.
