Hey Teresa, I don't have any leg warmers, but you can use the wrist warmer crochet pattern, and adjust them to make them longer and wider.

To get the round shape, you don't turn at the end of each row. You either keep crocheting on the other side of the chain or keep crocheting in a circular fashion. Here is the How to Crochet a Beanie link if you would like to see a hat pattern and how the rounds are done.

this is a crazy question - Ican chain stitch and double stitch in a straight line to make blankets and scarfs. How do you get the "round" shapre for the purse or a hat. I can't seemto figure it out.

Thanks!

I enjoyed looking at your pattern! I've thought about making a small purse-pouch but haven't yet.

I've been carrying a passport pouch for years, though! It is such a handy size! I have fibromyalgia, and what with the "fibro-fog", I kept leaving my purse at restaurants & such, so I told my DH one day that my guardian angel was tired of guarding my purse for me (since I left it so often - forgot I took one)! Since that time, I have carried a passport pouch instead, with bare essentials in it. I fasten it around my waist or put it in my pocket - fastened to my belt loop. That way it NEVER gets misplaced or lost or forgotten - even if it drops from my pocket (since it is fastened around my belt loop). I have had it fall out of my pocked, but although the cord is dangling and annoying when it drops (which is very rarely), since it is attached - I don't lose it!

Glad you found it a handy size :)

Sure beats a bulky purse!

Sometimes I miss having room to put odd things in, but I never miss having forgotten it somewhere!
