Rachel, I am new to Tunisian crochet and hope this is a nice simple project to start with. I’ve been doing some practicing before starting anything ‘real’ and my work has been curling up. Am I doing something wrong?

Rachel. That looks great. The crocheted buttons is a nice finishing touch. Keep up the great work you are doing with the site. It is very interesting. I never know what I’ll find here but its usually interesting (like the Wall Street bull with the crocheted outfit – lol).

Thanks so much for this pattern. I wanted to learn tunisian stitch and this was great for that. I used a regular crochet hook and 3 different colors. I made mine bigger with regular buttons (too lazy to make them) and single crochet around the edge.

Hi Arwin, try searching online. But Michaels should have Tunisian hooks, they are longer than regular crochet hooks. Or you can get the type that has a flexible tubing attached to the end.

oh….I’ve checked out Michael’s but the one’s in Canada all have the bump, as well as Walmart & Zellers, we don’t have a Hobby Lobby, & its a 4.5 hr drive to the USA from my house! a wee bit far to go for a crochet hook!
