Hi Gianna, there are Tunisian crochet hooks made just for Tunisian crochet! They are much longer than regular hooks so that they can hold a bunch of stitches. You should be able to find them in any major craft store or online.

I am having a hard time fitting all of my stitches on one needle because crochet needles are so much shorter than knitting needles. Does this mean I can only do small projects with this stitch. I’d love to be able to do a cowl but I honestly cannot figure out how I’d go about doing it.

Hi Rachel! I’m making a cardholder (21 stitches long) using your Tunisian colour-change method. I’m only at row 3 but it is curling in quite badly (longitudinally). Is there something I have done wrong or is this normal? Hmm I have many more rows to go, could you advice how I could fix this? : ) Thank you – I love your site!

I love the way this looks!
I’m working on making one in a solid color to get the hang of doing tunisian stitches, then I’ll probably do one in several colors
It looks wicked cool in the different colors too, so I can’t wait to get one finished
