I have been crocheting for a long time (simple patterns) and this pattern seems simple.however I have worn yarn to a frazzel trying to get this moebius correct.the twist is always lost even tho I twist the chain as directed Please help

Jana, yes I do mean the “hump.”

Eva, it sounds like you may be untwisting it after you get to the end of the bottom loop stitches. The piece should stay in the configuration you see in the third picture, and you shouldn’t be back at your marker until you’ve completed twice as many stitches as you chained.

LOL – it wasn’t simple. I’m not getting a moebius … I’m getting a circle? It was twisted at first, but now I don’t know what happened on the 2nd row. maybe I should stick to simpler crochet! LOL
