I Hate Being Sick :(

By Rachel Choi – 13 Comments

I always thought that people normally got sick in the winter, but no, it’s almost summer here and I’m sick! Nothing too serious though, just a sore throat, a small cough and a minor headache. I don’t know if getting sick is a good thing or not. I mean it does keep me at home, and what do I do at home? Crochet!! Then the down side is I might just get tired and fall asleep instead. Okie dokie, I’m done complaining…

Watch out soup can, here I come!!!

Hope you feel better soon! Not to worry you, lol, but there is a lot of bronchitis and strep stuff going around here. My Dad and I both had bronchitis (he’s my babysitter) and my 3 year old had strep, all within 2 weeks of each other. Slam the zinc and vitamin C! Saved my step-mom. 😉

Bummer, Rachel. Hey – do you have allergies? I was thinking “purrhaps” it is an allergy to pollen. But if it ends up being a cold (hey – it’s still Spring – LOL), I hope it won’t last long. Hope it’s long gone before Summer actually arrives in a couple weeks. ;-D Enjoy your crocheting in the meantime — if you’re not sleeping. Or purrhaps you crochet in your sleep too? LOL

Sorry that you’re sick. I have been sick for the last couple of weeks as well. I start way too many projects when I’m not feeling well, but I never seem to be able to finish any of them.

I know how that is. I am getting over a cold. Got mine while going to yard sales. Mine was a chest cold I guess. Mostly mine was just sore throat and trying to cough up all that mucus crap. That was about it for mine. I actually think it was at one particular walmart we went to that particular day so now I’m hesitant about going there again. lol. I’ve never liked that one anyway so its not a big loss to not go. Anyway, glad you’re feeling better!!

Glad you are well now…I am late reading posts…. I too, had a summer cold, but much worse than yours. It put me in bed 4 days and 4 days no energy. Better now. My husband gave it to me, isn’t he ‘sweet’? Now let’s the rest of us here stay well all summer!
