New Comment Feature

By Rachel Choi – 7 Comments

I added a new feature for when you comment on post! It allows you to receive e-mail notifications when someone else leaves comments on the post. It’s totally optional and the good thing about it is that if you’re really interested in knowing what other people write, you’ll be notified when someone else leaves a comment. Or if you happen to leave a question for me and then I go and answer your question, you can be notified that I did.

If you would like to receive these comment updates for a particular post all you have to do is click the box at the end of the post that says “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail”. The box is right underneath the “Submit comment” button.

Again, it’s absolutely optional. I just think it’ll be a great way to keep up with conversations and I noticed that lots of other blogs had this feature too!

Let me know what you think!

I am having a problem interpreting this pattern. It seems whenever I start a new project, I have to work the pattern a few times to get it right.
    The directions say:

Chain 3 join with sl st in first ch to form a ring

Row 1 ch 3 (does not count as a st) work 9 dc in ring do not join

Row 2 ch 3, turn, shell in first dc.(sk next dc, sc in next dc, sk next dc, shell in next dc ) twice – 3 shells

Row 3 ch3, turn, shell in first dc, sk next dc (sc in next dc,sk next 2 dc,shell in next sc, sk next 2 dc) twice, sc in next dc, sk next dc, shell in last dc – 4 shells

My question is do I count the chain 3 in the shell ( shell is 5 dc in stitch indicated) in rows 2 & 3 and in other rows after this ?

    • Rachel says:

      Hey Judy,
The ch 3 at the beginning of each row does not get counted for anything. Just count the amount of shells (sets of 5 dc) you make.

All of the patterns are soooooooooo adorable, but since I am partial to koalas. i have to say this is my favorite. The completed projects look so easy to make, that I would absolutely consider buying it. I know my grandchildren would really enjoy them.

Hi Rachel, I am looking for a “bow” crochet pattern. I just love your easy patterns since I am a beginner. I have been making your “flowers” pattern for my daughter and I glue them on a hair clip. My daughter asked me to make a “bow” to put on a small hair clip. I have searched a few sites and just can’t seem to find one that I can understand. Do you have a “bow” pattern, I would be willing to buy it. Or if anyone knows of where I can search to find an easy bow pattern. Thanks so much. I love your site and look forward to every Monday! I find your patterns the easiest to understand so that is why I was hoping you would have a bow pattern : )
