Hi Rachel, I am looking for a "bow" crochet pattern. I just love your easy patterns since I am a beginner. I have been making your "flowers" pattern for my daughter and I glue them on a hair clip. My daughter asked me to make a "bow" to put on a small hair clip. I have searched a few sites and just can't seem to find one that I can understand. Do you have a "bow" pattern, I would be willing to buy it. Or if anyone knows of where I can search to find an easy bow pattern. Thanks so much. I love your site and look forward to every Monday! I find your patterns the easiest to understand so that is why I was hoping you would have a bow pattern : )

All of the patterns are soooooooooo adorable, but since I am partial to koalas. i have to say this is my favorite. The completed projects look so easy to make, that I would absolutely consider buying it. I know my grandchildren would really enjoy them.

Hey Judy,
The ch 3 at the beginning of each row does not get counted for anything. Just count the amount of shells (sets of 5 dc) you make.

I am having a problem interpreting this pattern. It seems whenever I start a new project, I have to work the pattern a few times to get it right.
The directions say:

Chain 3 join with sl st in first ch to form a ring

Row 1 ch 3 (does not count as a st) work 9 dc in ring do not join

Row 2 ch 3, turn, shell in first dc.(sk next dc, sc in next dc, sk next dc, shell in next dc ) twice - 3 shells

Row 3 ch3, turn, shell in first dc, sk next dc (sc in next dc,sk next 2 dc,shell in next sc, sk next 2 dc) twice, sc in next dc, sk next dc, shell in last dc - 4 shells

My question is do I count the chain 3 in the shell ( shell is 5 dc in stitch indicated) in rows 2 & 3 and in other rows after this ?

Hey thanks a lot Rachel! That's great.

On the occasions that I make a comment, I sometimes check back to see if you or someone else commented as well.

PS. I LOVE your site, keep up the good work!
