I am definitely “a care less crocheter” except when I need appliqués for a fabric purse sample. I love those projects which take form easily but require lots of time. Because when I crochet a large project I allow myself to relax. I love to sit in front of the television with my roommates and crochet. I find it absolutely wonderful!!!

I’m more of a “start a million different projects and not finish them for a month then remember I was making something and hurry up and finish it as fast as I can” crocheter… I don’t have a very long attention span… Or memory span for that matter lolz

I am the “I Can Care Less” type. I’m working on a bunch of small projects right now, and I think Monday or Tuesday, I’ll be starting on my biggest project yet. A Pride Blanket for one of my friends.

I’m a toss between “Slow n Steady” and “I Can Care Less” ~ my procrastination habit keeps me in the slow-and-steady lane, tho, most of the time. ( It’s what keeps me from being totally LaZy ~ LOL ) This past 2 yrs I’ve gotten pretty addicted to crocheting with thread, and enjoying making doilies and pillow case edgings. I was usually doing more with yarn in past years, crocheting baby items, stuffed toys and the occasional afghan.

“I Can Care Less”, describes me … If I want to make it, it does not worry me how long it takes or how difficult it is. I crochet while watching TV and so it does not matter …
Doesn’t mean I don’t do the odd quickie in between!

Instant gratification all the way baby! I like making small things likes hats, scarves, blanket squares for charity. The biggest thing I’ve made was a prayer shawl that took me about 3 months off and on. I get very little concentrated time to crochet so I like to see results quickly

I am an instant gratification of quick projects, but even some of those get put on a back burner when something new comes along! I like crocheting with different “fibers” like plastic grocery bags and vcr tape. I even grow my own silkworms and make a small amount of silk thread. Contractor nylon string that comes in hot pink, lime green and bright orange is fun too!

Is there a “I have a short attention span” category? I find I need to work on something new or different after working on a project for awhile. I make little animals and scarves/hats. I don’t think I have the attention span for big projects. I find I work on a little animal, then after it only needs to be sewn together or needs a leg or something I move on to another project and then later finish the first one. I like making animals since it is a mix of both crochet and stitching/glueing things together. So it helps with my short attention span by mixing up what I’m doing. Don’t get me wrong, I love crocheting, especially for my friends/family. I just get so anxious to start something else I want to make that I take a break from what I’m working on to work on a new project with new yarns, colours and shapes.
