 Inspired by a traditional crocheted granny square, this coaster and trivet set is crocheted in the round with an openwork stitch pattern. The top layer of each piece resembles a round granny, while the back is a solid piece. Feel free to crochet the coasters and trivets in as many colors as desired to create a look that you like! The pieces in the sample photo use 3 different colors (light blue, dark blue, and red) for the front pieces, and black for the back pieces.
