![]() When the cold season blows in we begin getting out the winter blankets and decorations. At my house, the tablecloth is changed from the autumn red to winter blue and adorned with snowflake placemats and a handpainted candle holder. Normally, we leave the autumn couch throw until spring but this year I am introducing this new afghan to the room. It has a wide range of blue tones from the yarn to the embroidered snowflakes, an exciting technique for the stripes, and tassels for the finishing touch. I had a lot of fun designing this throw and I'm hoping you will have just as much making it!
