 This is an easy pattern that creates a sweater by wrapping a single, long, rectangular wrap around your body. The stitch pattern used to create the wrap is one of my favorites. Alternating between solid rows and mesh rows, the fabric created is a great combination of being lacy and solid, so that it drapes easily. A photo tutorial is included for wrapping the wrap around the body to create the sweater look. This wrap sweater can be made to fit any body shape and size! Feel free to use any weight of yarn you desire, to create a thick or thin sweater.
Skill Level: Easy Finished Size: This sweater can be made to fit any size. Width and length can be adjusted using the instructions within the pattern. Instructions include guidelines for taking measurements, which are used in the place of conventional sizing guidelines, allow for the sweater to be customized for the intended body size. The sweater in the sample photo measures 9" wide (23 cm) and 60" (152.5 cm) long and fits a small adult. Materials: The sweater can be crocheted with any weight of yarn and its appropriate sized crochet hook to obtain the thickness or thinness of the sweater desired.
