Crochet Spot is a welcoming site where you can learn how to crochet and find funtastic crochet patterns to work with. The goal is to provide easy to follow tutorials and crochet patterns, while getting to know you the readers and having a ton of fun along the way!

Rachel Choi – Founder

I founded Crochet Spot not too long ago in 2009, right out of my Philadelphia home, as an adventure to share my crochet patterns with the world, and help others to crochet along the way. Today, I’m glad to say that Crochet Spot is a wild success, with over hundreds of crochet patterns and tutorials, and thousands of visitors each month! If I didn’t have my favorite 3.25 mm hook, love for soft yarn, and of course your support, Crochet Spot wouldn’t be the funtastic place it is today.

I’m a writer, mother and crocheter. My days are filled with mayhem, mischief and makings. I started crocheting while on bed rest with my second daughter and have been crafting items ever since. I love sharing my patterns and experiences with crocheters looking for more to learn!

Alicia Kachmar – Writer

I was always crafty, but crochet holds a special place in my heart because of the way it saved me during such a difficult time, physically and emotionally, and continues to do so. I feel very lucky to have found something that can fulfill me on so many levels. I hope to meet a lot of crochet enthusiasts here on Crochet Spot, hear your stories, answer your questions and, in general, spread the word about everything crochet!
