Using crochet thread for jewelry is an excellent way to create lacy and feminine pieces that look like something out of your favorite boutique. With this easy and quick project you can make yourself a pair of lovely earrings in no time. Make an extra pair for the friends that are sure to love them too! Crimpy Earrings

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 2” (5 cm) in diameter

Materials:
Lace Weight Yarn (approximately 20 yards)
Crochet Hook B (2.25 mm)
Earring hooks
Jump rings
Jewelry pliers

Gauge:
Round 1 in pattern measures 3/4” (2 cm) in diameter

Crochet Pattern: Crimpy Earrings (make 2)
Round 1: ch 2, (sc, ch 3) 6 times in first ch, sl st in first sc: 6 ch-3 spaces
Round 2 – 3: ch 1, *sc in next sc, ch 3, sc in next ch-3 space, ch 3, repeat from * around, sl st in first sc: 24 ch-3 spaces
Finish off.

Attach jump ring to top row of circle and attach to earring hook. Repeat for second earring.
