Very cute! I think they’d also make some adorable coasters using some cotton yarn. Thank you for the pattern.

Can you make this fish with out making an adjustable ring? If so how many chains do I make for the beginning of the circle?
    Thanks

    • Amy Lynn Yarbrough says:

      Hi Cathy!
The adjustable ring gives you the ability to tighten the ring but it can switched with 3-4 chains, which ever you preferred.

I’d love to explain how to do the adjustable ring if you’d like. It’s really basic.

Hi Cathy, to add to what Amy said, you can also do a chain 2, then 6 sc in second ch from hook. Or you can do chain 3 or 4, then slip stitch into first chain to form a loop, then 6 sc into loop.
