Crochet Pattern: Pluvia Earrings

Rain doesn’t have to be sad and gray. This pair of earrings are proof of that. Their drop shape is finished off with a single clear bead, making the name perfect. Of course they’ll look good in any colors you choose for the yarn and beads, so have fun choosing them. crochet_pluvia_earrings

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 3/4″ (2 cm) wide, 1 1/4″ (3 cm) tall

Materials:
Fine Weight Yarn (approximately 5 yards)
Crochet Hook C (2.75 mm)
2 Size E seed beads
2 Earwires
crochet yarn size 2

Gauge:
Rows 1 – 6 measure 3/4″ (2 cm) wide and 1 1/4″ (3 cm) tall

Crochet Pattern: Pluvia Earrings (make 2)
Row 1: string bead, ch 2, sc in second ch from hook: 1 sc
Row 2: ch 1, turn, 2 sc in next: 2 sc
Row 3: ch 1, turn, sc in first sc, sc2tog inserting hook into first and last sc, sc in last sc: 3 sc
Row 4: ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first sc, sc in next sc, 2 sc in last sc: 5 sc
Row 6: turn, skip 2 sc, (3 dc, dc with bead, 2 dc) in next sc, sl st in last sc: 6 dc
Finish off. Attach earwire to earring.
