Finished Size: 12″ (30.5 cm) wide, 9″ (23 cm) tall
Size can be adjusted to make a larger or smaller placemat by following the directions within the pattern.

Materials: Medium Weight Yarn (approximately 100 yards) Crochet Hook I (5.50 mm) |

Gauge: not too important for this pattern, use the instructions within the pattern to adjust the size as you see fit.

Crochet Pattern: Placemat
Start by loosely chaining 42 or a chain that is as wide as you want your placemat.
Row 1: working in back ridge only, hdc in third ch from hook and in each ch across: 40 hdc
Row 2: ch 2, turn, hdc in each hdc across: 40 hdc
Repeat row 2, 23 times or until the placemat is as tall as you desire, then finish off.
