Crochet Pattern: Coin Purse Keychain

By Candace – 10 Comments
Here’s a keychain that has both form and function. It’s a cute miniature tote bag, and if you install a zipper or other fastener, you can use it as a coin purse. Try making a brightly colored one and using it to hold the change you need to feed the parking meter at the beach.

Zippers come as small as 6 inches in sewing stores. They’re simple to shorten, lots of tutes on the internet to see how to do that.

To fasten the top, try those small circle velcro at the top

Another great idea: weave a string of yarn at the top around and tie ends to make a bow for the outside!

  7. Hi, I tried this, but it became so much bigger than I thought ( 7 cm wide and 8 cm tall) , how can I make it smaller? Please
