2017 Crochet Resolutions

Every year people make resolutions, so why not make crochet resolutions too? It can be anything from learning a new crochet technique, or perhaps finishing a project you started 2 years ago. Leave your resolutions in the comments below and we can help each other reach them throughout the year!

    Ha ha mine is finishing my projects. I have 8 crochet projects going right now. I always start something then see something that I like and start it and drop the other my resolution is to finish what I start. Now if I could only stick to it. Lol. Happy new year

    Now that the holidays are over I resolve to work on and finish more charity items especially for the Veterans.

    This year (2016) I made my crochet hobby into an official business, so I want to see that grow from what this year was able to do. My major goal is to work up an inventory (ha!) so that I can do one craft fair in fall-winter 2017.

    My resolution is to keep new purchases of yarn, books, kits, patterns etc. to a minimum and work with those I already have. But there’s no way I could stop getting new things completely!

    “I resolve” to be more organized with my craft supplies, my projects, and my scatterbrained thought process (me – “Oh look, how cute, I’ve got to make that right now!”

    This year I’m going to try some new techniques–Join–as-you-go, and crochet cables. I also hope to have a yarn booth as the CGOA show in Chicago in July.

    The closest I’m coming to a resolution is participating in Cold Sheep. It’s time to really do something with the pretty yarns I’ve only been able to bring myself to look at and swatch.

    Of course one of my crochet resolution is to finish the projects I have going. My other resolution is to make a couple of things for myself using new yarns which I have purchased. Working with new yarns other than acryllic.

    Like so many of you, I have unfinished projects all over the place that really need to get finished! I also make things for our crochet club to put in several crafts shows, so I need to find and try some new (and maybe quick and easy) projects for the shows.
